West End Historic District

The West End began in the mid-1800s as Dallas's first trading post, set up by John Neely Bryan beside the Trinity River. It now holds restaurants, shops and museums, including the Sixth Floor Museum at 411 Elm Street and the Dallas World Aquarium with its 400,000-gallon shark tunnel tank.
